Texas holdem poker is the main online poker tournament however there are several other forms of online poker tournaments available. The following listings are real time updates that list the upcoming poker tournaments at specific online Poker rooms. It is possible to click on any poker tournament to register. If you are already a member of the specific online poker room you can enter your user name and password to register or as a new player you have an option to download the software and sign up as a player.
I am not a particularly good multi-table poker tournament player (MTT) even thou I have cashed out several times (In the money).
The book that has helped me the most is Dan Harringtions poker tournament book, Harrington on Hold'em, volumes 1 and 2. It gives examples of play in online poker as well as live poker. Dan is someone who has won the WSOP so he knows what he is writing about. I still play MTT’s for the big score as there are several online poker tournaments with top prizes of $50,000.00 to over $100,000.00 and anyone can get lucky. You would get a decent return on your money if you made the final table let alone winning the tournament.
