  1. Royal Flush
    • A royal flush is an ace high straight flush.
    • I have had a Royal Flush 3 times over the past year.

  2. Straight Flush
    • A straight flush is a five-card straight, all in the same suit.
    • I have had a Straight Flush 7 times over the past year.

  3. Four of a Kind - Quads
    • Quads, or four of a kind, are four cards of equal rank.

    • A full house, or full boat, contains a set (three) of cards of one rank and a pair of another rank.

Try keeping track of how many times you have misread your hands, it still happens to me when I play several texas holdem online poker games. It happend to me in the last poker tournament that I lost.

This is the most basic information for texas holdem online poker, it doesn't matter is its ring games or a poker tournament every player has to know this.

I keep detailed information on all the Texas Holdem online Poker games I have played at Party Poker. I have played at many online poker sites and each one of these sites have provided me with hand history’s if I requested them. Party poker and many other online poker sites allow you to automatically store your hands on your hard drive, this is the option I use.
After the hands are stored on my hard drive, I use a poker program called PokerTracker to keep detailed history about the hands I have played. I start a new database every year as I play a lot of online Poker hands. I have played a total of 206,000 hands of poker this year (This only includes 1 table poker tournaments – SNG’s). This number is actually not that high as some players play much more online poker tournaments than me. I know several players that play well over one thousand one table tournaments a month.

I have ranked the best hand to the worst hand, in order they are: Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind - Quads, Full House or Boat, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind or Set, Two Pair, Pair and High Cards, I have also listed how many of these hands I have had in the last year. The hands only include the ones that I didn’t fold.
