It will be a pleasant victory for the Spanish government if they can corner some of the one billion dollar online casino and poker market however it will fall way short of sorting out the massive government debt. It is quite strange that two of the three European Union countries that are in financial difficulties, also have the most amount of gambling revenue.

It has been another day of progress in the online casino industry as Bally Technologies  have been the first company to be recommended for an interactive gaming supplier license by the state of Nevada.  This is the first U.S. state to make such a bold move in the online gaming industry.  It seems that the platform is spread over all types of online gambling, from online pokers all the way to online slot machines.

It seems the Australian government is going to go the way of regulation in order to keep the money in Australia, which could exceed one billion dollars.
